He began studying the flute with Maestro G. Bernabò and graduated with distinction from the Conservatorio “A. Pedrollo” di Vicenza in the prestigious class of Professor M. Finco. He later refined his studies with renowned masters R. Guiot, C. Klemm, E. Caroli, and P. Wavre. Of fundamental importance to his musical development was his encounter with Maestro G. Pretto.
He served as principal flute of the Giovane Sinfonietta Italiana and collaborated as principal flute with major orchestras including the Orchestra del Gran Teatro La Fenice di Venezia, Orchestra Filarmonica di Torino, Orchestra dell’Ente Lirico Arena di Verona, Orchestra da Camera di Padova e del Veneto, Filarmonia Veneta di Treviso, Orchestra Sinfonica di Mosca, Orchestra da Camera Lorenzo Da Ponte, and I Solisti Italiani. In addition, for ten years he was a member of the Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza, performing in all orchestral roles. As principal flute, he also took part in the Orchestra di Venezia tour in Japan, performing in some of the country’s most prestigious concert halls.
Awarded in several flute competitions, he has also recorded for various record labels. He performed Soliloquio by Louis de Pablo, broadcast on Radio Tre Suite, and has actively collaborated with many distinguished contemporary composers, including Fabio Vacchi, Alessandro Solbiati, Nicola Campogrande, Franco Del Corno, Pierangelo Valtinoni, Francesco Erle, G. Bonato, G. Bernabò, Orazio Sciortino, Roberto Vacca, A. Manzoli, P. Corrado, and Gabrio Taglietti, among many others. Pianist and composer Matteo Zanetti dedicated to him the solo flute work Canto Notturno, published by Armellinof Padua.
In 2001, he founded the Ensemble Musagète, a chamber group now firmly established within the Italian musical landscape, performing dozens of concerts and presenting hundreds of different programs. He has performed alongside internationally acclaimed artists such as G. Guglielmo, Sonig Tchakerian, Mario Brunello, Teodora Campagnaro, Bruno Canino, S. Schilli, D. Roi, and G. Pretto, among many others.
In 2003, he won a research scholarship at the Music Institute of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini in Venice, and the following year he graduated cum laude from the Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia.
He currently holds the flute chair at the Liceo Musicale C. Montanari in Verona and founded and directed for ten years the International Flute School Dentro il Suono. He is frequently invited to give courses and masterclasses at Italian conservatories and academies and to serve on juries for national and international competitions.
Of fundamental importance to his artistic and personal development were his encounters with Teodora Campagnaro, Bepi De Marzi, Andrea Oliva, Silvano Perlini, Fatima Terzo Bernardi, and Milena Vukotic.
