This masterclass is intended for students enrolled in Conservatories and Music Institutes, including preparatory and academic programs, who wish to refine their instrumental technique and repertoire. Individual lessons will be tailored to the program presented by each student in preparation for examinations, competitions, or concerts. In addition, group lessons will be organized for the preparation of an orchestral concert program.

Masterclass for soloists and string ensembles focused on Latin American repertoire

Proposed programme:

• Aguiar: Cuatro momentos for string orchestra
• Piazzolla: Las Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas for solo violin and orchestra
• Piazzolla: Le Grand Tango for solo viola or cello and orchestra
• Márquez: Danzón No. 2 for string ensemble
• Bacalov: Concerto Grosso No. 2 for violin and orchestra

For the viola course, the participation fee is reduced to €200 for members of the Italian Viola Association. For students already enrolled in other courses who wish to register additionally, the fee will be €50.

The Junior Orchestra course aims to introduce young students to ensemble playing from their very first approach to the instrument. Alongside the fundamentals of violin, cello, and piano technique, participants will explore a repertoire for small ensembles and orchestra ranging from Baroque music to rock and jazz. The course culminates in participation in public performances and concerts.

Piano Collaborative Artist

Simonetta Pesaresi – Piano / Collaborative Pianist

The course is open to soloists, chamber music ensembles, and piano-guitar duos. Activation of the course requires a minimum of eight registrations. It is designed for students who wish to deepen their study methods and interpretative approaches to the classical guitar and piano repertoire, from the Renaissance period to contemporary music. Suitable for students ranging from beginners to professional musicians.
